A compulsive gambler was always
borrowing money from a friend who was happy to oblige.
Unknown to the gambler, every time he went
to the casino the friend would have a romantic rendezous with his wife.
After several months the friend had a
pang of conscience. He admitted what he
was doing and promised to bring the affair to an end.
The compulsive gambler’s face dropped
in disappointment. “Does this mean you
won’t be lending me any more money?”
